Fatality Review Board
The board reviews all fatal crashes occurring in Franklin County and develops countermeasure recommendations to prevent future crashes of a similar manner.
In 2008, 94 people lost their lives in a traffic accident. 61 of those individuals were males and 31 of those were females and 2 were unknown.
It is known that 24 of those individuals killed were not wearing their seat belts.
11 of those individuals were ejected.
In 2009, 75 people lost their lives in a traffic accident. 56 of those individuals were males and 19 of those were females.
It is known that 13 of those individuals were not wearing their seatbelts.
7 of those individuals were ejected.
In 2010, 77 people lost their lives in a traffic accident. 53 of those individuals were males and 24 of those were females.
It is known that 14 of those individuals were not wearing their seatbelts.
6 of those individuals were ejected.
